Can Neurolinguistic Programming Create Wealth?
Neurolinguistic Programming models excellence in special humans in terms of mental strategies, and then teach that excellence to other humans (typically those who can afford the book, the training, or who funded the modeling studies within their own organizations). So how do we model wealth creation and maintenance, and teach that for free? Well, first we must ask "who's gonna do that for free?", and then listen to the sucking sound as nobody replies. I'll address that here.
Before NLP, Napolean Hill modeled the magnates of Think and Grow Rich fame, and millions of copies were sold in dozens of languages. Certainly now there are many more millionaires walking the earth than in those days (partly due to inflation, partly due to technology and a stable economy, and partly due to people learning how to become millionaires through the example of others like those modeled in Think and Grow Rich). But why is not every reader of the book a millionaire? How do we apply the lessons of Think and Grow Rich to every man? Can NLP help?
Certainly. It's not that the lessons of Think and Grow Rich are not true. They are. It's that Think and Grow Rich is based on general principles. Virginia Satir taught that nothing happens in general... everything happens in the specific. We have to start wealth building where we are, with what we've got, and this book will address how NLP can help to do just that.
