NLP Practitioner: Craig Pinegar
I have 18 years of experience in enterprise manufacturing and supply chain systems and process consulting, working with people and teams of all backgrounds and types to implement changes to organizations in pursuit of continual improvement, and increased profits through better and more timely decisions. On these large and complex international projects, I have repeatedly played the roles of system architect, project manager, trainer, tester, etc.
People I've worked with know me as someone who is passionate about what I do, and always find a way to get the job done, on time, on budget, while honoring those I work with. I enjoy helping people and technology work together in new and effective ways to create value. The most fun is witnessing the development of the team members themselves, as they work together, learn at an accelerated pace, overcome differences and difficulties, and are proud of the results at the end. Very rewarding.
I am also an NLP coach, using precision questioning, rapport and common sense with individuals and teams in pursuit of life changes as they evolve from life stage to another, start a new chapter, launch a new project, change direction, overcome an addiction, loss or grief, create a compelling future, and find motivation to sustain that direction. I have worked with people from a variety of backgrounds and on a variety of issues and goals.
I am a certified NLP Practitioner, through NLP Comprehensive, and have also studied and integrated material from Richard Bandler, Charles Faulkner, Steve Andreas, Tad James, Chris Howard, Michael Hall, Christiane Turner, Kris Hallbom, Joseph O'Connor, Hypnotica, and Radical Change Group. There are always new discoveries, distinctions, ideas and perspectives, and I'm appreciative of the work these leaders in the field have done.
I believe that NLP is best learned by doing, and from interacting with as skilled and diverse an NLP crowd as possible. For fun, I also organize a free weekly NLP study group in Orem, Utah.
Coaching Principles:
"A problem well-defined is half-solved", and "measure twice, cut once", are maxims that I consult and coach by. When working with complex systems, teams and individuals, it is vitally important to have the best and latest information available, or the most current maps, so to speak. Spending 80% of my time gathering information, and 20% of my time performing intervention work is not only typical, but also necessary for best results.
"Focus on the how, not the why." I focus deeply on the outcome, the transformation, the learning, the forgiving and forgetting, the letting go, the moving on, the new paradigm, and on the necessary inoculation against negativity.
I am also a husband and father of 4, and consider my family to be the most valuable asset in the world. I learn as much from my wife and children as through my other roles, and my family serves as constant a reminder that any change must be based on solid and timeless, sustainable and ecological principles. I believe though NLP holds powerful keys for reimprinting painful childhoods, it is far better to imprint children with positive experiences the first time around.
I have learned that although you cannot always choose your family, the skills and attitudes to improve familial relations can be learned, exquisitely improving all aspects of life.
What You and I Can Do Together:
I am experienced, trained and motivated to ask precise and provocative questions that will change your inner world, and can change your unproductive beliefs, habits and therefore your life. I am trained and motivated to help you get crystal clear about what you want out of life, and then co-develop, simulate and guide you through the steps your change will require. I am experienced, trained and motivated to help you reframe difficulties and garner the resources you'll need to transform them into strenghths. Before the change is ever implemented in real life, we will have thoroughly tested that change for fit, alignment, effectiveness and robustness.
I will be demanding, and will ask for and tease the best out of you. Be prepared to give it all you've got, and together we will get results.
