Submodalities of God

Submodalities are the Interface between God and Our Experience of God.

A few years ago, I had a conversation with a friend now deceased and we were talking about how exactly to know about God, and whether it would be possible to know God directly. We decided there would have to be some kind of conduit or interface between our animal beings, and the spiritual creator. NLP opened my eyes to an important aspect of how the mundane temporal and spiritual timeless worlds would communicate if they could.

Psycho-Cybernetics

Thank You Maxwell Maltz!

The NLP founders borrowed heavily from Psycho-Cybernetics, though it is hardly mentioned. I want to share some of my insights from the New Psycho-Cybernetics, which I've just completed for the third time. My sense is that whether or not NLP came along, Psycho-Cybernetics had a lot to offer by way of enduring concepts and exercises, which when compared side-by-side with NLP is hardly distinguishable. NLP places more emphasis on language models, but the structure of nearly all NLP interventions were identified in the '60s by Maxwell Maltz.

help anyone?

NLP Training: Ericksonian Function

What is the Ericksonian Function?

Summary:

In tonight's free web conference, we delved into the essentials of what Stephen Gilligan has called the "Ericksonian Function", or in other words the essential aspects of Milton Erickson's function as a world-class hypnotherapist, with the ability to direct his subjects' attention in ways that helps them discover their personal power. Power to do what? Power to relieve pain, power to become creative, power to forgive, power to direct one's life in more positive ways, power to improve relationships, power to find ground in psychosis, power to escape from the grip of neurosis, power to become more able in crisis, and the list goes on.

NLP Training: NLP Pattern Common Threads

Common Thread Binding All NLP Patterns

Summary:

Today's meeting presented the idea that one of the threads common to all NLP interventions is moving the ourselves or our clients from a present state to a desired state. We explored this idea by comparing several NLP patterns, and across many contexts, and asking:

  • Where do we really want to go? - Get really clear about this before starting.
  • Where are we now? - Take inventory of how you got here, what you have and what you'll need.
  • What is the best way to get there from here? - Several choices allow for selection of the best way.

NLP Strategies: Try Something Else

At Grass Roots NLP, we search for NLP in real life with real people in real time. NLP happens all around us, whether they know it or not... Here is an example:

I met the locksmith in the usual circumstances... locked out of the corporate apartment, the key not placed where it should have been by the previous occupants.

Ecological Wisdom

Ecological wisdom does not consist in understanding how to live in accord with nature; it consists in understanding how to get humans to agree on how to live in accord with nature.
